Why are there additional fees on my booking?
Some of our trips include additional fees at checkout. These are not charges added by our company, but rather required per-person fees that go directly to third-party agencies. They are mandatory, non-taxed pass-through fees that we are obligated to collect, and none of the funds are kept by our team or business.
If you're booking online, you'll also notice a "service charge" applied to your reservation. This fee is set and collected by the booking platform we use—it isn’t controlled or visible to us. While we explored building our own system to avoid this common industry fee, it proved too complex and resource-intensive for us to manage in-house. Instead, we focused on negotiating one of the lowest service charge rates in the industry and successfully worked with the software provider to cap the total fee amount.
