Nathan Lane

Nathan has always been drawn to both the beauty and intricacies of the natural world. With a sense of adventure and curiosity, he set off to live on the tiny island nation of Vanuatu as a Peace Corps Volunteer, exploring the culture and jungle from his bamboo hut for a two year period. Looking to leave the tropics, he came to Alaska and promptly fell in love with the world of glaciers.

Ever since then, he has been working to share his passion for glaciers with others in the hope that they can experience these geological wonders. Outside of Alaska, you can find Nathan wandering the landscapes of the lower 48 or travelling the world by bicycle, with a camera always by his side.
