About:

Hailing from the cornfields and hollows of Indiana, Greg ambled his way from the Midwest to Seward, Alaska in search of mountains and glaciers. His parents are adamant that he was born in the wrong generation and wrong place- he loves ‘70s rock & roll and playing outside in the forests, rivers, and mountains.

It wasn’t until college that Greg found his niche in the outdoors; through Indiana University’s Outdoor Adventure program, Greg found his passion for rock climbing as well as a desire to experience nature through a breadth of mediums- especially ice climbing, mountain biking, and trail running. Greg received his B.S. in Environmental Science in December 2014 and has spent the last 1½ years living in Utah working as a field technician for Utah State University and in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan working as a dog sledding guide.

Greg believes in constantly doing things that scare him because he finds great value in pushing his mental and physical limits which allows him to learn something new about himself as well as improve his technical and interpersonal skills. Time ain’t moving any slower- so get out and get after it!
