Spend your days hiking off-trail and your nights among the clouds with this amazing adventure in the mountains

Remote Alpine Hiking and Camping Trip

We are now offering overnight alpine hiking trips to a pristine alpine area surrounded by towering remote peaks.  Using an R44 to access a high alpine zone above Resurrection Bay, you and your guide will be transported to an untouched alpine wonderland filled with waterfalls, wildflowers and glaciers.

On this trip, we set up camp on a ridge high above the valley floor with a giant peak looming right outside of your tent door.  From camp, there are almost endless options for two to three days of hiking.  Whether you want to see waterfalls, glaciers, Resurrection Bay from above, or the rugged islands jutting out of the ocean, your guide can tailor the hiking to your interests.  The first day will start with a shorter hike through lush alpine meadows. We then we set up camp in the evening, followed by a gourmet backcountry meal cooked by your guide.  The second day will be either a longer hike or a day of relaxing and taking in the pristine alpine setting - the choice is yours!  Depending on conditions, you may even be able to summit a nearby glaciated peak!

This overnight is an active and action packed tour that is guaranteed to amaze.  We provide the tents, cookware, food, daypacks, trekking poles and all technical equipment.  All you need to bring is your own sleeping gear, personal clothing suitable for Alaska camping, and belongings.  A good camera is a must!
